confused

Often I find myself confused and often I ask, what in the world could confuse me so? Is it life? I really doubt it I mean sure it's complex but surely not CONFUSING? Is it school? Of 'corse not! I know plenty of thoroughly confused people that haven't step foot in the halls of purgatory for years. Politics? Nah most don't even watch the news let alone pay attention to old men babbling about nonsense that other people don't even let slip into their heads, though that might have changed with everyone out of a job, not having anything better to do at 4:00p.m.
Anywho as I recall we weren't discussing anteaters hitting drums in people's otherwise unoccupied heads we were discussing...confusion was it?

It is through the twisting waters of time that I seek
I've looked so hard and looked so long not a glimpse belongs
So long I've tried to find... What?
It's been so long since I've thought to think it through
